Many of you who have been part of the CSF for years know that the Nass openings often don’t last long or don’t open at all.  You will be happy to know that the run is strong this year!  Our fishermen had 2 days last week, 2 days already this week and Fisheries announced they will open another day of fishing on Friday!  This is great news for the strength of the run, and for our members, but it’s also exhausting for the fishermen.  The grounds are about a 6 hour run from port and so, after fishing 2 – 18 hour days, they ran in to port for 6 hours, unloaded, fueled up, and are heading back up to the fishing grounds tomorrow.  Phew!  They will be exhausted so send them strength, good wishes, and positive, fish- catching vibes 😉
