Arctic Char
We source char from various Nunavut communities and offer it as flash-frozen, boneless, skin-on portions in sizes that are usually around 1 lb each.
Arctic char is caught between the months of November and March. We usually carry it from December onwards and will often sell out by late spring or early summer. The gear method used for Arctic char is gillnet and auger.
pricing
We buy directly from our fishers, which allows us to offer our members competitive prices while paying our fishers fair wages. The prices for 2024 are shown here. Prices can fluctuate each year, and higher price ranges reflect the inclusion of shipping costs for locations outside of Metro Vancouver
