Dungeness Crab Clusters With Garlic Lemon Butter

Add a touch of luxury to your Valentine's dinner menu with our flash-frozen Dungeness crab clusters! Already cleaned, cooked, and brined with salt and water, our clusters are ready to thaw and serve with our favourite garlic lemon butter. Trust us, you'll want to give them a try!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen Dungeness crab clusters (2 crabs/ 4 clusters per bag)
  •  1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a small pot over medium-low heat, warming until melted but not brown.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and lemon zest.
  3. Continue heating for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant, before removing from the heat.
  4. Add the lemon juice and stir until combined.
  5. Serve warm alongside our thawed Dungeness crab clusters.

Notes

  • Our flash-frozen Dungeness crab clusters come cleaned, cooked, and brined with salt and water for your convenience. You simply need to thaw and enjoy! You could also choose to pair this butter with our live Dungeness crab when in season at the Wharf.
  • Want to try this recipe for date night but don't need 2 whole crabs? Our flash-frozen Dungeness crab clusters are the perfect solution as you can easily pull out and thaw your desired portion. Enjoy a crab feast by thawing all 4 clusters or enjoy 2 clusters as a starter.
  • Once thawed, we chose to quickly dunk our crab clusters in a large pot of boiling water to remove any residue and warm the meat slightly. This step isn't necessary, it's entirely up to personal preference!

Servings: 2 - 4  people
