1. Cedar Plank Salmon with Maple Syrup Whiskey Glaze

It doesn't get more Canadian than this cedar plank salmon recipe from Skipper Otto member and friend Steve W.!
Featuring a sweet and smoky maple whiskey glaze that perfectly complements the distinct flavour of the salmon, this recipe is big on flavour and low on effort. We opted for our wild sockeye salmon fillets on this occasion, but the recipe also works well with any of our Pacific-caught salmon species, including chinook, chum, coho, and pink salmon.
Enjoy these spectacular maple whiskey-glazed fillets alongside your favourite side dishes. We chose creamy potato salad and grilled corn on the cob!

Salmon and berries may not be the first summer flavour combination to come to mind, but trust us when we say this pairing is absolutely heavenly.
This fresh and vibrant recipe from our friend Chef Ned Bell begins with a full side of grilled salmon. Barbecued until tender and delicate, the cooked salmon fillet is then topped with local raspberries, strawberries, fresh mint, and sweet and sour pickled red onions. It makes for the perfect centrepiece at your next summer dinner party, and best of all, it comes together in under 20 minutes.

Easy and nutritious meal prep recipes don't get much greater than our sockeye salmon bites with avocado sauce and fresh pineapple salsa.
This quick and versatile recipe begins with our sockeye salmon spoon meat: a fantastic, minimal-waste product made from scooping the high-quality salmon off the bone after filleting. With a texture reminiscent of ground meat, our spoon meat can easily be mixed with your favourite herbs and spices, rolled into balls, and cooked as desired.
In this recipe, we’ve served our sockeye salmon bites atop a vibrant avocado sauce, before sprinkling them with pineapple salsa. We also love using this recipe for summer-inspired salad bowls! Simply pair it with your favourite salad greens and starchy veg.
