Workshop Update

We’re super excited about receiving a grant through UBC Community Learning that is allowing us to put on workshops and open kitchens this summer.

It has been an amazing experience to learn all the ins and outs of planning and running seafood workshops, and to experiment with different classes and kitchens.

We planned an early Open Kitchen for June 19th, but unfortunately we have to cancel this one. It’s just too early in the season to have consistent fish coming in multiple times a week to ensure we have fresh stuff work a workshop. We usually don’t get fully underway until July, and we tried to push it too early this year.

We’re hoping to have lots of open kitchens this summer in different locations, so there will be plenty of more opportunities. Looking forward to seeing you at some of them!
