Our Vancouver Island fisherman, Rod Roberts, is heading out fishing for the first salmon of the season this week. Shaun and his trusty assistant and son, Oliver (now 5 years old) will drive over to Port Alberni on Wednesday to retrieve the catch. We expect to have a fresh salmon pick-up Thursday night and we’ll send the details in an email to members very soon.  Fire up those bbq’s – just in time for the summer solstice Friday night!
